TOPPING THE TABLE

Barcelona has been nothing short than fantastic in the last few years with Messi breaking records season in and season out and now with their recent signing Neymar, it seems as if there is nothing stopping them from ruling Europe once more.

With a signing fee of €57,000,000, the Brazilian youngster is expected to pair up alongside Lionel Messi and overcome everything that is thrown at them.
The start of this dominant however picked off with rather questionable decisions as Pep Guardiola is the man most people give credit for the astonishing success that the Spanish team went through since the moment he took charge back in 2008.

Ronaldinho, Deco, Zambrotta, Giovani dos Santos and Samuel Eto’o all were offloaded from the team as Guardiola did not have any plans for any of them.
It was a way for the youth products to step in the team and play a more vital role.

The result of all these decisions arrived in the same season when Barcelona won the treble and was the 1st Spanish club in doing so. The successful years continued on for Barcelona with most noticeably was their Champions League win in 2011. If you had been lucky enough to have placed a 3 Strikes Bet with Unibet back in the day, you could have made a fortune.

Due to personal health, Pep Guardiola had to step out of the team and was replaced by Tito Vilanova who did not enjoy the same type of glory days until eventually being taken out and replaced by Tata Martino as the current manager of the squad.

Currently they are topping every table and competition participating in. The attacking trio of Messi,Xavi and Iniesta is a factor which has proved to be too much for teams to handle in the past years and now with Neymar being added to the squad it’s not looking like they want to stop their form.

The Champions League of this season is on their priority list and it will take a colossal team to take them eliminated from the tournament.
