Iniesta is hoping to recover in time for El Clasico

Barcelona has recently a hugely important 3-2 victory over Valencia in a very entertaining and thrilling match which was played on October 22 at the home turf of Valencia in the Mestalla Stadium.


This game was gripping from start till the end as Lionel Messi scored the opening goal of the match at the 22nd minute but Valencia responded by drawing the match in the 2nd half with Munir El Haddadi turning the scoreboard 1-1 and his own teammate Rodrigo gave Valencia the lead by scoring a few moments after the game was tied.

With the scoreboard displaying 2-1 in favor of Valencia, Barcelona tied the match a few minutes later with Luis Suarez scoring his 7th goal of the season and just went it appeared like the match was going to end in a 2-2 draw, a late penalty was given to Barcelona and Messi made no mistake in edging the victory to his team.

Even though Barcelona snatched all 3 points from this game, it was a bittersweet triumph for the team of Luis Enrique as Andres Iniesta picked up an injury at the 13th minute and he might be out of action for up to 8 weeks.

Scans have already been made and it was confirmed that Andres Iniesta sustained knee ligament damage. This type of injuries usually forces players to stay out of the playing grounds for up to 8 weeks, this is the regular period of time that it takes for a performer to recover from this injury.

Barcelona has a huge league match coming up on December 3 as they face off with their eternal rivals, Real Madrid and all of the supporters as well as staff members of Barcelona are hoping that Andres Iniesta can recover in time for this injury but it’s something that still remains uncertain if it will happen and everything will entirely depend on Iniesta.

Even if Andres Iniesta is not able to recover in time for their upcoming match against Real Madrid, Luis Enrique still has a fair amount of other talented players at his disposal but his absence will certainly be felt for the matches that he will be not able to play.
