INIESTA: BARCA WILL HAVE A GREAT SEASON THIS CAMPAIGN

A lot of eyes have been on Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona and there have been questions asked about whether they can manage to survive without their club legend Lionel Messi after the Argentina international star left the club this summer.

Messi left Barca this summer under unexpected and controversial circumstances, one of them being the fact that Barca are currently in a difficult financial situation.

Even though the six-time Ballon d'Or winner had the intention of signing a new contract extension at the Camp Nou, the club's financial situation would not allow the deal to go through so he eventually left Spain and signed for French Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain instead.

Following Messi's departure, a lot was said about Barcelona and their squad, with much showing concern about the club's chances of winning titles this season with their current team. They did sign a number of players this summer, with Memphis Depay (free agent from French club Lyon) and Sergio Agüero (free transfer from English Premier League club Manchester City) as part of the players that they were able to acquire in the summer transfer window.
While Agüero is yet to feature for the club since sustaining a serious injury, his fellow summer arrival, Depay, has been enjoying his time at the club so far. The Netherlands international star has already had three oak contributions in three appearances so far in the La Liga for Barcelona and is already making a huge statement of intent about his quality in the team.

Former Barca midfielder Andres Iniesta has now revealed that he expects the team to do great this season, insisting that the club, despite losing Messi this summer, have a number of quality players that can still help them challenge for titles this season.
