Iniesta Reveals That Neymar Still Desires To Play With Messi

Former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has revealed that it remains a desire for Neymar to play with Lionel Messi, amid the Argentine superstar being linked with a move away from the Camp Nou.

Lionel Messi may be triggering a bidding war amongst clubs if he chooses to quit Barcelona at the end of the season after he ended up remaining at the club following a failed attempt to leave the Catalan giants last summer.

Barcelona’s leading president candidate Victor Font says it is highly unlikely that Neymar will make the comeback to the Catalan giants. The Brazil international made the surprise move for Paris Saint-Germain in a world-record deal in the summer of 2017 with the view to enhancing his prospects of winning the Ballon d’Or.

So far, that has not been the case for the Brazilian and there has been the talk of him returning to the Camp Nou in the near future. Of late, a number of presidential candidates have talked about possible big-names signings for the Blaugrana, but Font believes the club should be realistic and look at signing young players, who can develop into world-beaters in the long run.
